Join us in person to explore creativity, connect with others, and support your mental and emotional well-being in a welcoming space. 

🎨 🖌️Art therapy uses creative activities like drawing or painting to help people express emotions and thoughts that may be hard to put into words. The focus is on the process, not artistic skill.

Looking for a safe, welcoming place to connect, learn, and make your voice heard!

At S.A.M., members come together to: 
✨ Build confidence and self-advocacy skills 
🗣️ Share ideas and experiences 
🤝 Make new friends and connections 
📚 Learn about resources and opportunities 
💡 Develop leadership and communication skills 
🌍 Create positive change in your community 

Whether you're new to self-advocacy or already involved, there's a place for you at the table! 

📅 Meetings are held twice a month 
⏰ 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM 
📍 Various locations 

Together, we share knowledge, build confidence, and grow our independence as a team.

Volunteers are needed through the summer months to help water and maintain our plot.

Thinking about living independently

Join our Rent Smart course and build the knowledge and confidence you need to be a successful tenant!

  • Residential Tenancy Act (RTA)  

  • Tenancy Agreements & Responsibilities  

  • Knowing Your Rights  

  • Budgeting & Affordability  

  • Being a Good Neighbour  

  • Effective Communication  

  • Preventative Measures & Spotting Issues  

  • Avoiding Pests  

  • Pets & Tenant Responsibilities  

  • Living with Roommates  

  • Tenant Insurance 

🎓 Attend all sessions and receive a certificate of completion.
